Happisburgh (pronounced Haisbro) is a seaside village on the North East Coast of Norfolk. It has considerable historic charm with many thatched cottages and a handsome church, whose tower top is now accessible to visitors. There is a prominent red and white striped lighthouse, and the beach is loved by all age groups. There are some lovely coastal and rural walks in the area and many attractions to visit, including the Broads and the Royal Horticultural Society garden at East Ruston.

Reviews

For price we expected better e.g. bathroom poor - some mould and affected by damp, insufficient towels provided

Mr Simon L,

A very spacious, immaculately clean property with a fully equipped kitchen. Happisburgh is a relatively small village with a pub serving good quality food at reasonable prices and served by friendly staff. The Stables and the surronding area was very dog friendly and the beaches were fabulous which our dogs loved running around on. If you are after a quiet and relaxing break we would highly recommend staying at the Stables - a home from home.

Previous Customer,

cannot knock the property though getting out of the drive and main bedroom window being on top of the road can be awkward.

Mr Andrew F,

The Property met our requirements but there needed to be some maintenance carried out on the property including kettle, fridge, toilet and outside equipment. No real expense required.

Mrs W,

Just returned from a fabulous stay at The Stables, beautiful cottage which was much larger than we thought from the photos. Lovely secluded garden for the dogs, ample parking for two cars, great size bedrooms, nice size kitchen and a large lounge with 3 large sofas and the added bonus of an XBox (my son couldn't believe his luck when he saw it!). There is a pub a few minutes walk from the cottage and stunning Happisburgh beach is about a 10 minute stroll away which is absolutely glorious! There is also a Lighthouse there that do tours on a Sunday which we sadly missed. I would definitely stay here again and would definitely recommend The Stables to anyone looking for a lovely cottage in a peaceful location.

Miss B,

The Stables is fabulous, great location with everything that's needed to enjoy our stay, would stay here again

Mrs Jenny W,

Very spacious, comfortable cottage in easy walking distance to the beach. The cottage is well equipped and the garden is well fenced for dogs, even smaller breeds. It is in a really good location, lots of other nearby beaches including Horsey Gap where the Harpy Seals were on shore with their pups. If we get the chance to travel to Norfolk again then we would definitely return to The Stables.

Mrs B,

Great base and very close to the beach. Really clean and cosy with a good enclosed garden for pets. Will definitely return.
