Reviews

The cottage was amazing. Well equipped, clean and welcoming. Welcome pack was fantastic. Would recommend this cottage.

Mrs T,

We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay at Malthouse Lodge. Every aspect of your stay had been considered and accommodated for. It was excellently equipped and suited our family and in-laws perfectly - the downstairs bedroom with wet room en-suite was an added bonus for them. We loved the village of Heacham and especially enjoyed the warm welcome in the Bushel and Strike across the road. It’s a great house that caters for all age groups and is very comfortable.

Mrs C,

The house is in excellent location for the beach, fish and chip shops, and pubs.

Mr E,

We found Malthouse Lodge very comfortable and plenty of space for 4 adults a two children. Best welcome package ever !! Ideally situated for the local beach and Hunstanton. Also Norfolk lavender and Farmer Freds softplay (highly recommend if with children, and weather bad!) Would stay here again.......but would take own bedding, as all beds had 'teddy' bedding, very, very hot , even in November!

Mrs S,

This is the third time we have stayed in this wonderful cottage and hope to do so again. That really says everything!! It's great!.

Mr C,

Probably the best equipped cottage I have ever stayed in and everything about the cottage was well thought out and very comfortable. The welcome goodies were amazing and very thoughtful. The cottage was very clean too. I would definitely recommend this to anyone.

Mrs C,

Cottage was not very clean cobwebs in every room, even the double bed headboard was covered in dust. wooden floor had not been washed in months, decking was very slippery when wet and broken in many places, not been steam cleaned in years and not maintained in years, No smart TV in lounge, and unable to watch dvd's and not connected to TV. Shower in twin room was blocked, with hair and gunge which we had to clear ourselves so that the water could run away. Very annoying blue night light that comes on automatically and stays on all night in the hall and all ensuites bathrooms, no option to turn this off . Teddy bear Bedding absolutely awful very unsuitable, and very uncomfortable. Very disappointed.

Mrs Deborah T,

The excellent service provided by Original Cottages over this and many other bookings. The high marks given here are a true reflection of the super quality of this property.

Mr Donald C,

We found the property to be very comfortable and welcoming, a great location for a day at the beach or a visit to sandringham.

Miss F,

Beautiful cottage, spotlessly clean, comfortable beds in a fantastic peaceful location with the most generous welcome packs we've ever had. Reminders & directions from yourselves were most helpful. Would not hesitate to recommend yourselves & Malthouse Lodge. Thank you for a wonderful holiday.
