What a stunning little Cornish gem. Beautifully furnished to the last detail, this is a perfect holiday destination for a couple and their four-legged friend. Situated on Bodmin Moor only 1.9 miles from St Breward, where you have access to the local village shop offering a wide range of goods including local produce which you can even order online and arrive to find your groceries delivered. Located within the shop is a North Cornwall Heritage Coast and Countryside Service information point where you can ask about local walks. There is also a pet friendly public house, The Old Inn. Steeped in history, it has been catering to weary travellers for centuries and is now renowned for its great food and all day Sunday Carvery. Within a couple of miles, you could join the Camel Trail at Wenford Bridge. 18 miles of disused railway line along beautiful countryside and estuary all the way to Padstow, the Trail is suitable for all ages and abilities. Two of Cornwall's best known landmarks can be explored on the Moor - Rough Tor and Brown Willy that rise up to 1360 feet and are the highest points in Cornwall. There are superb views and on a good day both coasts can be seen. You can walk to both directly from Little Irish.  The enclosed garden provides a lovely haven for those warmer evenings, in the cooler days/evenings you can cosy up in front of the woodburner and watch the ever changing scenery. A 20-minute drive will find you in the pretty market town of Wadebridge or you could visit Rock and catch a ferry to the bustling fishing port of Padstow making this property an excellent base to explore more of the Cornish Coast.

Built-in electric oven, ceramic hob, fridge with large ice box (freezer available in owners porch), microwave, dishwasher, washing Machine, Nespresso coffee machine, TV, DVD player, iPod dock, woodburner, breathtaking moorland/countryside views.

Beautiful cottage, well equipped and spotlessly clean. Lovely views across moors. Hosts very welcoming and knowledgeable about area and surroundings. Old Inn carvery excellent.

Mrs M,

A superbly equipped and immaculate property. It is a little “off the beaten track” but if your looking to get away from it all in a top notch, pet friendly property then look no further

Mr W,

Lovely cottage the owners we're very welcoming with scones jam and clotted cream for your start of your holiday. Loads to do or just relax.

Ms B,

Little Irish is amazing. Me and my partner went for birthday holiday and we were pleased with our choice. Little Irish is very cosy with a cute and modern mix vibe. The cottage has everything you need. The location is perfect very secluded but not too far from pub or shops. The owners are absolutely lovely and very helpful. Little Irish is very private and makes you feel right at home. We loved it. Also very clean.

Miss N,

It's a great place to stay so warm and cosy. Views are wonderful from the property and it is so peaceful and quiet. It had every comfort you would want. Owners were very friendly and approachable but left us to ourselves.

Miss O,

Perfect for venturing onto the moors. A cozy, well equipped cottage with attention to detail. Owners very approachable and friendly. Great pub close by. Gone away with a new love for Bodmin Moor.

The most perfect quiet retreat and being able to step out of the cottage onto the Moor to walk the dog was amazing. Lovely property, lovely owners, thank you!

Mr B,

Little Irish is a beautiful little cottage for a peaceful get away. In a remote spot on top of the moor with lovely far reaching views of the Camel Estuary . Excellent for waking and exploring north and south. The cottage is beautifully equipped, spotlessly clean and we had a superb welcome from the owners on arrival .

Mrs S,
