Description

Situated just a 5 minute walk from Swanage town and beach, Sunny Place is a newly built two bedroom apartment perfectly suited for couples looking to explore the purbecks. The apartment is located on the ground floor and benefits from a large private landscaped patio area with outside seating. Throughout the apartment there are a series of double patio doors from the bedrooms and living spaces which open out to this area too. Relax and enjoy an evening with friends in the open plan 'L' shaped kitchen, living and dining area, with stylish and comfortable seating in the living area and glimpses of the beach. Overhead feature lights hang from the ceiling over the solid wood kitchen island, the kitchen is modern and well equipped with shaker style units and contemporary white worktops - it is a lovely space to enjoy rustling up a meal or a sunday breakfast before heading out to explore.

A hallway from the kitchen leads you to the two double bedrooms and family bathroom. Sunny Place offers an element of privacy and lends itself to two groups holidaying together, with a lovely big master en-suite bedroom with walk in shower, the bedroom has double doors that open out to the patio area too. The second double bedroom just across the hallway is modern and beautifully furnished, again with double patio doors and access to the family bathroom adjacent. 

Sunny Place is a comfortable holiday home for friends and family to make their home during their stay. Spend your holiday enjoying all that Swanage has to offer with a beautiful sandy beach, rock pools by the Victorian pier and plenty of places to enjoy a local ice cream after a day at the beach! The high street is varied and vibrant and has many places to eat and drink - from cafes, pubs and restaurants to the traditional seaside fare of fish and chips. If you wish to venture further afield you can hop on the steam train which runs from April and September to the historic ruin and town of Corfe Castle.

Sunny place is a lovely ground floor, well equipped modern apartment. The main living area and both double bedrooms have patio doors opening onto the secure south facing courtyard area with outside seating. There is alway ample parking for two cars on site. The apartment is very bright and airy. Both bedrooms are doubles with a very spacious master with en-suite. Its location is just a short walk down a slight hill straight into the town centre.

Really nice place but please please please sort out the beds. They are so squeaky. Particularly the one without the en-suite. Such a shame it just takes the edge off having a 100% positive experience. Please get new bed bases - could even be a new divan base - mattress is fine. Lovely flat. spacious and in excellent condition.unfortunately the beds and mattresses were very cheap and uncomfortable. otherwise the scores would have been much higher.

The main reason for a lower score on comfort was due to the bed. The mattress was uncomfortable and thin and the bed frame is made of steel with steel cross members which made noises every time I moved in the bed. This reason alone would stop me from booking this accommodation again.

Excellent quality property, lovely furnishings and very well equipped. Loved the decor in the sitting room and the local prints in the bedrooms. Great sunny patio courtyard, very safe for the dog as completely fenced in. Given a lower score for comfort because of the beds. The mattress in the en suite was far too thin for a luxury apartment - could feel the bed frame underneath and has left me with a bad back. the other bed frame squeaked every time my daughter rolled over. This is the only reason we wouldn't book here again as loved it otherwise. I think the blub should emphasise that the apartment is up a steep hill - for anyone unfamiliar with Swanage geography. Minor point - it would have been useful to know there is a cafetiere to save taking ours.

The kitchen was beautifully presented - lots of crockery but cutlery very poor. 4 teaspoons! Lovely shower and bath but no soap dishes or anywhere in the shower to place shampoos etc. no hooks on bathroom door. The bed was quite the worst I have every slept in. Only 4ft 6ins wide, thin mattress and dreadfully uncomfortable springs, very low! We left an day early and booked into a hotel for a couple of nights to catch up on sleep. Seemed such a shame as a lot of money had been spent on some things and no thought given to others.

Location and cleanliness were excellent. What let’s this flat down are the beds which are incredibly uncomfortable, short, unstable and noisy; cold and unventilated bathrooms; unpredictable hot water and a tap in the en-suite which comes off in your hands. All of these have been reported in the visitor book for the last two years! Also there are no mattress protectors on the beds For this reason the flat does not represent good value for money
